Surgery
Rockcastle Regional’s state-of-the-art surgery area renovation was completed in May 2009. The department nearly four times the size of the previous surgery area, provides staff access to the latest technologies to better serve our patients. Computers are now easily accessed by nurses for charting medical information and scanning medication.
The new surgical suite consists of a 3 bed pre-op area, 3 bed post-op area and a 2 room surgical suite consisting of a new operating room and minor procedure/endoscopy suite.
Christian Knecht, M.D., David Brabon, M.D., Sridevi Maddineni, M.D. and University of Kentucky Gastroenterologists perform general, plastic, colo-rectal and endoscopic procedures.
