Rockcastle Regional Wellness Center
Rockcastle Regional hosts co-ed exercise programs in the Wellness Center on the third floor of the Outpatient Services Center. The 2,600 square-foot Wellness Center opened in December 2011.
Please choose a class that is appropriate for your fitness level. A variety of classes are offered. Please consult your physician before starting a new exercise program.

Class Guidelines
- For all classes, it is important to participate in the warm-up and cool downs.
- Beginners, please introduce yourself to the instructor prior to class and complete necessary paperwork.
- Proper footwear is important for a safe and enjoyable workout.
- Instructors and class schedule subject to change.

Class Descriptions
NEW! Summer Camp 2012 Hip-Hop Dance Camp for ages 7-14 – Students will learn various steps and combinations. Students will also learn several choreographed routines. We will review how hip hop dance has evolved and tips on how to integrate some of the combinations into routines for dance and cheerleading participants. Karate Exercises involve use of all parts of the body, improving strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, reflexes, and cardiovascular health. Improves focus and discipline in children, self-confidence, respect for self and others. Promotes self-discipline, goal setting, and improved concentration. Teaches Self-Protection/Self-Defense.
Instructor: Chris Frith. Cost: $25 per month (discounts available for same household). Class1: Ages 6-14; Class 2: Ages 15-Adult
Kickboxing Punch, jab and kick your way to a leaner body – this class is full of cardio moves to make you a lean mean cutting machine!
Instructor: Jessica Pence. Cost: $5 per class.
Spin* Spin is the best low impact cardio fitness available. There’s no impact on knees, but after class you’d feel like you ran a half marathon. This class guarantees that you will burn over 800 calories per class. This is class is non-stop pedaling on a stationary bike.

Zumba Zumba is a fun, energetic way to dance your way into shape. It is for all ages and fitness levels. Try Zumba…ditch the workout and join the Party!!

Yoga Beginner yoga class with focus on strengthening the core and back, as well as improving balance through a flow of Hatha yoga poses. Please bring your own mat to class.

Kids Fitness For kids ages 4-7. How will your child benefit from this class over a period of time? Your child will learn how to exercise properly and with good posture, learn that “exercise” can be fun, strengthen bones and muscles, gain speed and agility, learn healthy eating and exercise habits, and much more! Parents are encouraged to attend and learn with their children! Have 2 or more children? Ask about discount prices for families!

Teen Fitness This class is for ages 13+ and focuses on improving physical performance levels. Learn how to gain speed and quickness, jump higher and farther, and how to push yourself to your limits safely and effectively. This class is suitable for anyone 13 years of age and older who are physically active.
