Rockcastle Regional Hospital and Respiratory Center has been recognized as one of the Best Nursing Homes of 2024 by Newsweek.

The America’s Best Nursing Homes 2024 rankings lists the nation’s leading nursing homes in the 25 states with the highest number of facilities, according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) The evaluation is based on five data sources:

  • CMS performance data
  • National online survey of peer recommendations
  • Management of the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Resident satisfaction data
  • Accreditation data obtained from the Join Commission (TJC) and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)

Estes, president and CEO of Rockcastle Regional Hospital and Respiratory Care Center. “Our dedicated staff, state-of-the-art facility, and patient-centered approach are to be credited for this designation.”

Rockcastle Regional was one of only five facilities in the state of Kentucky to be named to the list for facilities with 100-149 beds.
