Here are some sure signs of spring if you live in Rockcastle County: the weather is getting warmer, the Redbuds are blooming, and it’s almost time for the 15th annual Fairview Baptist Church 5K Run For Missions!

Event Details:

• Race time is 8:30 a.m. EST. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m.
• Please register or check-in by 8:15 a.m. Please allow additional time for registration and parking.
• Pre-registration fee $20.00. Ends Tuesday, April 22 at 12 Noon. 
• Race day registration $25.
• Family Discount: Family of 4 or more $17.50 each. 
• All participants pre-registered prior to April 22 noon deadline receive a free Tultex t-shirt. (Youth shirts are 100% cotton). After April 22, shirt availability is not guaranteed.
• Race 4 of 12 in the 2025 County-Wide Stride run/walk series.

Kids Club 2025:

• Kids age 4-12 run FREE! No shirt included in registration, but may be added on for additional fee.
• Kids will receive a commemorative silicone bracelet each race! Collect 7 bracelets to receive a $25 gift card and custom Kids Club t-shirt at the end of the 2025 series!
• Kids must run or walk - no strollers - to be eligible for awards and incentives. (Age group awards for runners only)
