Here are some sure signs of spring if you live in Rockcastle County: the weather is getting warmer, the Redbuds are blooming, and it’s almost time for the 13th annual Fairview Baptist Church 5K Run For Missions!

Event Details:

• Race time is 8:30 a.m. EST. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m.
• Please register or check-in by 8:15 a.m. Please allow additional time for registration and parking.
• Pre-registration fee $20.00. Ends Wednesday, April 10 at 12 Noon. 
• Race day registration $25.
• Family Discount: Family of 4 or more $17.50 each. 
• All participants pre-registered prior to April 12 noon deadline receive a free Tultex t-shirt. (Youth shirts are 100% cotton). After April 10, shirt availability is not guaranteed.
• NEW! County-Wide Stride Kids Club: Kids 12 and under run FREE and collect a special County-Wide Stride silicone bracelet each race! Collect 7 bracelets to receive a $25 gift card and custom Kids Club t-shirt at the end of the 2024 series! (No race t-shirt is given for free registrations).
• Kids may choose free 5K run or 2-Mile run/walk (no awards given for 2-Mile event).
• Race 4 of 12 in the 2024 County-Wide Stride run/walk series.
